Before you cancel
Verified steps
- 1Sign in to the Microsoft account linked to your Game Pass.
- 2Open Services & subscriptions.
- 3Find Xbox Game Pass and select Manage.
- 4Select Cancel subscription, or turn off recurring billing if that is the option shown.
Timing
Xbox says to cancel before the next billing date to stop the next recurring charge.
Important
If the page shows “Turn on recurring billing”, recurring billing is already off and the subscription is already set to expire.
