Good news: you can do this online.
- Sign in to the Microsoft account linked to your Game Pass
- Open Services & subscriptions
- Find Xbox Game Pass and select Manage
- Select Cancel subscription, or turn off recurring billing if that is the option shown
Xbox says to cancel before the next billing date to stop the next recurring charge.
If the page shows “Turn on recurring billing”, recurring billing is already off and the subscription is already set to expire.
